4.5 Solving Division Word
Problems with Remainders
** Students should have received this at the Learning Center on Wednesday, 1/11 or Thursday, 1/12. If a student was absent, they can download the materials here. If a student is unable to print, he or she is to write the work from the student page on a sheet of loose-leaf paper (be sure to label it and put your name on it) and have it with them to turn in to me at the Learning Center next week.
Standard - CC.4.OA.3 Solve multi-step word problems posed with whole numbers and having whole-number answers using the four operations, including problems in which remainders must be interpreted. Represent these problems using equations with a letter standing for the unknown quantity. Assess the reasonableness of answers using mental computation and estimation strategies including rounding.
