Click here for an important message about next week at CVCS ...
This year is certainly proving to be an exciting one! Thanks for being patient with Ms. PW and me as we are learning a new platform right along side you.
On Tuesday, April 26th (the first Tuesday back after Spring Break) Learning Center will be VIRTUAL. We will not meet at the Learning Center, but we WILL MEET VIRTUALLY IN A CLASSCONNECT SESSION. This goes for both Mrs. Garratt and Mrs. Claeson.
If you normally meet with Mrs. Claeson in the morning (6th graders) at the Learning Center, then you will meet with Mrs. Claeson virtually at the same time. If you normally meet with Mrs. Garratt in the morning (7th graders), then you will meet with Mrs. Garratt virtually at the same time.
In the afternoon, 7th graders will meet with Mrs. Claeson in a ClassConnect, and 6th graders will meet with Mrs. Garratt.
This is only the case for the students who come to the Learning Center on Tuesdays, and it will only be for the one Tuesday. We will meet again at the Learning Center the following week and for the rest of the school year.
We are doing this because high school students are required to take the ACT test on Tuesday, April 26th. They will be needing our space for the day, and rather than meet in Gottlieb, we are going to meet virtually.
This is a REQUIRED ClassConnect session for ALL Tuesday students.
Reach out if you have any questions.
In an effort to encourage continued progress and success in MobyMax Math, I have created weekly and quarterly contests for students. Winners can receive Cardinal Ca$h, Claeson Candy Raffle Tickets, and even Homework Passes!
I am creating a page that will lists the various contests and the winners.
ALL OF YOU have the ability to win these contests! Points are awarded for correct problems.
All of the information that you need is on the yellow post-it that I gave you.
8th graders, do not forget to read through and sign the ASP 8th Grade Graduation Contract that was sent home with you recently. I am not getting many back.
